Özet

Road freight transport (RFT) in Europe has increased dramatically over past 15 years. In last years, most EU countries aimed to raise the utility rate of continental combined freight transport (CCFT) but its development to date, has not confirmed such expectations. At the same time, horizontal road-rail transhipment technologies providers' e.g(CargoBeamer, Modalohr, Megaswing) market efforts for positioning the non-liftable semi-trailers in transport market are increasing. This research investigates the demand for logistics service providers (LSP) for the new product (CCFT) operated by innovative transhipment technologies.
