Abstract:

The use of PLC equipment has been increasing day by day being parallel to progress in the systems of controls nowadays. Besides having technological advantages of using PLC, it also decreases the prices in the advanced level and complex control systems.In this study, an endustrial system of sectional garage gate has been designed and implemented with useing PLC and 3 phase asynchronous motor.In the first part of the study, given informations are about PLC and PLC?s general use areas. In the second part, subjects were expanded and PLC?s history, the benefits of using PLC and PLC elements were taken in hand. In the third section PLC?s types, functions and PLC?s memory structures were talked about issues. In the fourth chapter of study, induction motor structure, properties, working principles and types of induction motor were given informations. In the fifth section, garage door design, materials used in the Project, control and flow diagram, software, power and control circuits were taken in hand. In the final section, conclusions and recommendations related to work were talked issues.
