This week, our Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory session will be conducted online. Starting next week (22.10.2025), we will begin face-to-face laboratory sessions.
Attached, you can find the laboratory rotation file, which includes information about which experiment you will perform (or watch online) on each lab. day.

Dear Students,
The General Chemistry and
Inorganic chemistry laboratory courses will not be held in the first week (17.02.2025-21.02.2025).
In the laboratory course during the week between 24.02.2025
and 28.02.2025, students will be orientated in the relevant laboratories and
during the relevant laboratory hours.
In the week of 03–07 March 2025, all experiments will begin
in all laboratories on the relevant days and hours.
Accordingly, the points to be considered regarding the
laboratory courses to be given this semester are stated below:
- Relevant video links of the experiments that have
been/will be conducted are available on our website, and students should come
to the laboratory prepared.
- Students who have previously taken laboratory courses and failed
with a failing grade other than F0 will not be required to attend the course
again, subject to an experiment exemption.
- All laboratory leaflets for our department courses can be
obtained from the bookstore on campus (yıldız store photocopy center). Students
are not required to use any laboratory notebook format determined by the
department to keep reports, and the format jointly determined by the course
coordinators is valid.
- Laboratory Safety and Working Rules form must be signed by
the student after the orientation course.
- In accordance with laboratory safety rules, students must
wear a mask, apron(lab. coat), glasses and gloves before starting the
laboratory and during the experiment, and must act in accordance with the
instructions of the laboratory instructor. 80% attendance is mandatory in
laboratory courses. Students have 1 make-up right and must submit their health
reports to the responsible instructor of the relevant group within 3 (three)
business days following the completion of the report.

KIM1170 Genel Kimya servis dersinin vize sınavı 24 Kasım 2021 Çarşamba günü saat 09.00–11.00 arasında bölümümüz dersliklerinde yapılacaktır. Dersin dönem içinde bir vize sınavı yapılacaktır.
