Proje Özeti

OptiDye introduces a multi-parameter, AI-enhanced sensing and control platform that transforms textile dyeing into a data-driven, resource-efficient process. The system integrates real-time turbidity, colour, pH, conductivity, and temperature monitoring into a ruggedised sensor capable of operating reliably in harsh, fouling-prone dye baths. Combined with edge-AI algorithms for drift correction and anomaly detection, and a closed-loop control engine that autonomously adjusts rinsing and process parameters, OptiDye enables significant reductions in water and energy use while improving repeatability and product quality. The project advances the technology from TRL 4 to TRL 6 through laboratory validation, pre-pilot testing, and full industrial pilots. Key expected outcomes include ≥30% water savings, ≥10% energy reduction, >95% signal reliability, and ≥50% fewer operator interventions. OptiDye strengthens EU industrial autonomy by reducing dependency on non-European sensors, supporting the Green Deal, Circular Economy Action Plan, and the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles. By enabling measurable reductions in resource consumption and providing full digital traceability, the project positions European dyehouses for sustainable, competitive, and regulation-ready manufacturing.
