Proje Özeti
Energy need of the world is increasing day by day. Meanwhile the
conventional energy sources cause environmental pollution and they have
dangerous effects on human health. Therefore research on clean and
easily achievable energy sources has significant importance. In this
project cost effective semiconductor silicon based solar cells will be
fabriciated and characterized. Solar cells will be in ZnS/Si and
ZnO/ZnS/Si heterostructures. ZnS and ZnO thin films will be deposited
onto Si substrates by chemical spray pyrolysis which is an easy and
cheap film fabrication technique. Metal contacts of the cells will be
deposited by electron beam evaporation method. Our aim is to fabricate
high efficiency solar cells by improving the film parameters of ZnO and
ZnS layers via doping several metals and thermal annealing treatments.
