Özet

Bidirectional Active Bridge (DAB) converters are widely used in renewable energy systems and electric vehicles, as they transfer energy in two directions and provide isolation in wide voltage ranges. In these converters, the transferred power is controlled depending on the phase shift angles. However, in these converters, some of the energy withdrawn from the source is transferred back to the source. This energy is called reactive energy and causes an increase in current stresses in the converter. For this reason, phase shift control methods are being developed in order to reduce the reactive power and increase the transmitted power in DAB converters. The most common of these is the Extended Phase Shift (EPS) Method. In this method, it is necessary to determine the optimum phase shift angle so that the power transferred in the converter is maximum. Optimum phase shift angles can be found using evolutionary algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm (GA). In this study, the phase shift angles providing minimum reactive power for 400 V input voltage and 48 V output voltage were found by genetic algorithm.
