Abstract

The Silk Road is not just a historical trade route, it is a commercial network. Being included in this network or controlling a part of it is important in terms of politics, economy and strategy today as it was in the past. The Silk Road will no longer be a nostalgic trade route, but will be an important 21st century link, traversed by high-speed trains, modern road and water. Since this area is an area that concerns China's economic and military security, Europe's trade relations, the present and future of Turkestan and Uzbekistan, the competition on the Silk Road is gaining more and more importance. It is very important for our country to have a share in the sea silk road along with the iron silk road. In this network, it will provide convenience and security to follow the traffic management, control and flow by using logistics information systems (LBS) and utilizing intelligent transportation systems in order to monitor and plan the mobility in all transportation types, especially in freight transport.
