Abstract

Optimal site selection is crucial for solar power due to their fixed-location nature. This study identifies key criteria for site selection and assesses their relative importance using three multi-criteria decision-making methods: Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Best-Worst Method (BWM), and SWARA. Six criteria were evaluated through expert judgment. Results indicated that a high consistency among the methods since AHP and BWM show the closest alignment and SWARA produce comparable outcomes. The study demonstrates the robustness of combining multiple weighting techniques for solar power site selection.
