After graduating from Ankara Atatürk High School, she completed her bachelor’s degree in architecture at Yıldız Technical University. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester at the University of Siegen in Germany. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University's Architectural Design master’s programme with a thesis entitled “The Criticality of the Embodied Mind within Spatial Experiences”. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the same programme. Her doctoral research explores the concept of autonomy at the intersection of art, architecture, and philosophy, offering a new perspective in architectural theory on the potential of this concept. During her PhD, she joined the Regenerative Architecture, Arts and Design (RAAD) research group at KU Leuven in Belgium and became part of Prof. Dr. Rachel Armstrong’s team at the 24th International Triennale di Milano. She has also contributed to various national and international platforms and conferences. At the Department of Architecture, Yıldız Technical University, she instructed design studios of ‘Introduction to Architectural Design’, ‘Basic Design’, and ‘Architectural Design 1’. Her primary areas of research include architectural history and theory, ethics and criticism, regenerative architecture and design, methods in design studios, body-mind and cognition studies, avant-garde theory, and the philosophy of art and aesthetics. She is currently a member of the DESIGNAE Cost Action.
