Hello all, from now on, I will be taking over OMRON part of the course KOM3772 Industrial Automation Systems Lab. 1.

I want to inform you that, upcoming weeks will be slightly different than the previous ones. The difference is, there will be no guidance upon last two OMRON experiments. So I advice you to prepare properly for the assignments I share. Since you all gained experience on OMRON, it is decided that you can take care of the assignments without requiring assistance. 

I am also sharing next weeks assignments so that you can study. You can access to the file by the password you already know.

For our last week, you will build up a ladder diagram which works with real sensors. Additionally, you will create an interactive HMI screen.
There is neither pre-experiment report nor experiment report required for this week.
I will grade your pre-experiments as your attendance so you better attend to the last lesson.
There is a video inside of google drive link, that will be our guidance onwards building up both HMI and ladder. You can watch it either in lab or before lab. Taking a look at it before may ease your job during the lab.

On this week, I will briefly introduce you Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Please take a look at this slide to at least have an understanding about PLC's before coming to the lesson so that you will consume the knowledge easier.

There are total of 6 questions. Also, draw the circuit on page 8 in any program and send the working circuits screenshot beside your answers.

Same with first week, do not forget to print this sheet out and bring your recommended equipments to the laboratory.
