As we approach the final exam, I would like to remind you of a few important points. Please check the final exam schedule published on the department website to confirm the date, time, and location of your exam. Additionally,
There is an important announcement regarding exam regulations also available on the department website. According to a recent faculty board decision, students are not allowed to have any electronic devices or materials with them during the exam. This includes mobile phones, laptops, smartwatches, earphones, and any other electronic equipment or study materials.
In our final lecture, we did not cover Lagrangian interpolation and polynomial regression due to time constraints — we did not solve any examples on them. However, we fully covered topics such as linear regression, linearization, and linear interpolation, including example problems. Please remember that you are responsible for everything covered and announced in class.
- The exam will consist of multiple choice questions.
- I will provide the formula paper, but you are expected to know which formula to use.
- You can access all lecture notes using Avesis.
- Please do not forget to bring your scientific calculator with you. Calculator sharing, mobile phone and smart watch use are strictly prohibited. Please learn how to use your calculator (radian, degree setting, exponential function, trigonometric functions etc), questions related to calculator use will not be answered.
- Please be in the classrooms 10 minutes before the exam starts.
- Please be sure to bring your student ID documents with you.

The make-up exam for the course END2962 Numerical Analysis will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Only students whose excuses have been approved will be allowed to take the exam. Students will be responsible for all topics covered throughout the course. Please remember to bring your scientific calculators with you to the exam. The exam will be held in classroom B202.

I need to attend a university meeting on Monday between 9:30 and 10:30. Therefore, just for this week, let's start our class at 10:45 and continue as long as you are available. I will share an online make-up session link for the part of the class we won’t be able to cover.

I wanted to remind you of some of the topics I mentioned in the first lesson. My office hours are Mondays and Tuesdays between 12:00-13:50.
