Biography

Melih is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Engineering, Yıldız Technical University, and also serves as the Vice Director of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering. He is married and has one daughter. His research interests include Fractional Calculus, Wavelets, Special Functions, Solitons, Nonlinear PDEs, Fuzzy Logic, Artificial Intelligence, and Neural Networks. He has published more than 30 articles in SCI-Exp. indexed journals, presented over 20 papers at international conferences, and completed 7 research projects. He has also contributed as a referee for more than 10 SCI-Exp. indexed journals and served as an organizing committee member or session chair in numerous international conferences. In 2024, according to the metrics conducted by Elsevier and Stanford University, he was recognized among the world’s top 2% of scientists in the “Single Year” category.
