Asst. Prof. Mehmet Şah MALTAŞ

He was born in Batman (South East of Turkey) where he spent his childhood and completed his primary, secondary and high school education. After studying in Ankara at Gazi University, Education of Art Department (Painting) he moved to Istanbul. In Istanbul he started work as an art teacher and beside it he started studying at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, at the Painting department (master degree). After he completed his master degree he started studying for the doctorate of Art at the Painting department at the same university. And before he completed (2012) his studying at the university,  he went to Italy as an Erasmus student and studied art at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Urbino for two semesters (2008-2009). After completing his PhD in Art (2012) he started to work as an Assistant Prof. at Yıldız Technical University, Art and Design Faculty, Art Department in 2013.
