Biography

In 2002, he completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. After successfully completing the German course at the Vienna Technical University in 2003, he attended graduate education at this university in 2004.

In 2005, he started to work in Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Machine Theory and Control Program and continued his graduate education here. In 2007, he did his master's thesis titled "Modeling and Vibration Control of Railway System Vehicles" within the scope of Projem Istanbul in the sponsorship of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

He has been a consultant to the R&D unit on Railway Vehicle Dynamics and Simulations between 2009 and 2014 in the "Istanbul Tramway" project, a dual-function domestic tram vehicle projected and produced by Metro İstanbul A.Ş. In the same project, he performed the noise and vibration tests of Istanbul Tram. In 2013, he completed his PhD thesis titled "Vibrations and Control of Light Rail Transit Systems". 

In 2015, after he was appointed as an Assist.Prof.Dr. in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, he instructed two new lessons titled "Railway Systems" in undergraduate education and "Railway System Dynamics" in graduate education. He currently instructs Mechanical Vibrations, Automatic Control, System Dynamics, Introductory Computer Science, Industrial Control Applications and Process Control courses.

In 2016, he participated in the establishment of three different laboratories called "Laboratory of Researches and Controls of Vibrations", "Automatic Control Laboratory" and "Railway System Research Laboratory" in Machine Theory, System Dynamics and Control Program.

His main research areas are modeling, simulation and dynamic analysis of rail vehicles and railway superstructures along with their passive and active controls of vibrations.
