Neslinur Hızlı Erkılıç is Res. Asst. Dr. at Yildiz Technical University, Department of Architecture. She graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Architecture in 2010. She received her M.Sc. degree (2013) from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with the thesis "Modernization of the Republican Period: Ernst Arnold Egli in the Context of Architectural Education Reform in Turkey". She received her Ph.D. degree (2019) in Building Research and Programming of Yildiz Technical University with the thesis “An Approach for Reading and Evaluating Undefined Urban Open Spaces”. Her research interests include leftover spaces, urban open spaces, temporary interventions and modern Turkish architecture.
