Özet

The aim of this study is to control and reduce the vibrations of a vehicle which has a semi-active suspension system. For this study, 7 degrees-of-freedom full vehicle model is used. Semi-active suspension is modeled with MR (Magneto-rheological) dampers at four wheels. Damping force of MR damper is configurable by voltage which is applied to it. To analyze the issue by means of this feature, respectively following simulations are performed; “no voltage (0 V)” is applied to MR damper, “applied voltage for MR damper supplied from a PID controller”, “applied voltage for MR damper supplied from a fuzzy logic controller”. Finally, simulation results are compared with each other. Thus, successful vibration control with low energy consumption is realized as an advantage of semi-active MR damper.
