Prof. Ayla ŞAYLI

Biography

Prof. Dr. Ayla SAYLI graduated in Mathematical Engineering Department at YILDIZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (YTU), TÜRKİYE, 1989. She got her MSc degree in the same department at YTU, 1991. She has achieved her PhD degree from the Computer Science Department at the University of ESSEX, UNITED KINGDOM, 1999. After her education, she had worked as an Assist. Prof. Dr. in the Mathematical Engineering Department at YTU from 1999 to 2010, and as Assoc. Prof. Dr. from 2011 to 2017. Since 2017, she works as Prof. Dr. in the same department. 

She had worked in EU Office at YTU between 2003 and 2010 with the different administrative duties of ERASMUS-ECTS Coordinator, ERASMUS-ERASMUS Institutional Vice Coordinator and ERASMUS-ERASMUS Institutional Coordinator.

Since 2006, she has been in the parts of various Research and Development (R & D) projects of DPT, TUBITAK and EU, as a member of project teams and consulting projects.

Currently she has been working as an Associate Professor Doctor in the Mathematical Engineering Department at YTU since 2011. She is interested in research areas such as "Relational Database Management Systems", "Software Engineering", "Algorithm Analysis and Data Structures", "Big Data Analysis", "Data Mining" and "System Anaysis and Design".
