Meslek yüksekokullarında öğrencim gören öğrencilerin mesleki tecrübelerini artırmak amacıyla iki adet staj yapması beklenmektedir. Bu süreçlerde öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri programa yakın alanlarda toplam 60 işgünü çalışmaları talep edilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerin yaz dönemlerinde yapmış oldukları stajların etkinliğini belirlemektir. Bu kapsamda öğrenci görüşleri göz önünde bulundurularak edinilen tecrübelerin değerlendirilmesi sağlanmıştır. Çalışma nitel tekniklerle yürütülmüştür. Öğrencilerden yaz döneminde yapmış oldukları stajlarda, edindikleri tecrübeleri dijital ortamdaki formun boyutlarını göz önünde bulundurarak değerlendirmeleri talep edilmiştir. Çalışmaya İstanbul ilindeki bir devlet üniversitesinin meslek yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören katılımcılar dahil edilmiştir. Toplam 299 katılımcının belirttiği ifadeler içerik analiziyle yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bazı sonuçlara göre; öğrencilerin alanlarıyla ilgili tecrübe edindikleri belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, öğrencilerin edindikleri tecrübelerin farkında oldukları ve mesleki eğitimlerine katkısının olacağını bildikleri anlaşılmaktadır. Ayrıca öğrenim görülen program ve işyeri arasındaki işbirliğinin sağlanması ve başka işyerleriyle bu işbirliklerinin artmasının sağlanması, öğrencilerin beklentileri arasında yer almıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar göz önünde bulundurularak; staj süresince öğrencilerin takip edilmesi ve edinilen tecrübelerin düzeylerinin yerinde görülmesinin sağlanması önerilmektedir. Son olarak, işyerlerinde gerçekleştirilen uygulamaların, öğrenim görülen programdaki eğitim programıyla benzer veya yakın olmasının sağlanması öğrencilerin mesleki yeterliklerini attırabilir.
Students who are learning at vocational schools are expected to do two internships in order to increase their professional experience. In these processes, the students are required to have 60 working days in the areas near the program they are learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of internships that students have made in the summer. In this context, evaluation of the acquired experience was provided considering student opinions. The study was conducted with qualitative techniques. Students were asked to evaluate their experiences in the summer semester, taking into account the dimensions of the digital form. Participants in the vocational college of a state university in Istanbul were included in the study. 299 participants expressions were interpreted by content analysis. According to some results obtained; Students have a lot of experience in their fields. However, it is understood that students are aware of the experiences they receive and know that they will contribute to their vocational training. In addition, the cooperation between the program and the workplace where education is being learned and the increase in cooperation with other businesses have been among the expectations of the students. Considering the results obtained in the study; it is recommended ensuring follow-up of students during internship and observing the level of the experience gained by internships. Lastly, ensuring that the practices in the workplace are similar to the program in which they are studying, it can be thrown students' professional qualifications.
