Dr. Adnan Bey started to practice his profession as the "Dean of the Faculty of Medicine" in the first years of the Second Constitutional Period (1908-1911) when the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) came to power by changing the regime. In the later stages of the process, while holding positions such as "The General Directorate of Health" and "Cholera Hospital Directorate," he served as "General Secretary" and "Member of the Prisoners' Commission" in the Ottoman Hilal-i Ahmer Society. As a member of the Ottoman Crescent Society, Dr. Adnan Bey participated in the Tripoli (1911-1912) and Gallipoli Wars (1915), fought cholera in the Balkan Wars (1912-1913), and during the First World War (1914-1918), as an administrator, he tried to keep the branches of the society in Anatolia alive. While taking care of the captive Ottoman soldiers, he tried to solve the problems of the children of the martyrs himself. During the Mudros Armistice Period (1918-1920), when he competed with the Greek Red Cross, Dr. Adnan Bey, who received a reaction due to his closeness to the CUP, which lost power, left the city with the occupation of Istanbul (March 16, 1920) and joined the Ankara-based resistance movement. The purpose of the study related to these facts and events is for Dr. To discuss Adnan Bey's activities in the context of the Ottoman Hilal-i Ahmer Society within the framework of an original article based on competent sources and to contribute to international academic literature.
