Özet

The philosophy of science is concerned with the assumptions, foundations, and implications of science. It concentrates on the metaphysical, epistemic, and semantic aspects of science.  More specifically, it focuses on the methods and logic employed by scientists in knowledge production, questions whether science explains the real world, and contemplates the boundary between science and nonscience. In understanding science and the philosophy of science, the history of science is of immense importance, as it provides context for the emergence and evolution of scientific practices, theories, and paradigms across time and space.
