© 2020 IEEE.Transverse Aperture Integral Equation method is applied and tested numerically for the problem of a single homogeneous dielectric/ferrimagnetic layer of arbitrary thickness and constitutive parameters illuminated by a monochromatic plane wave. This experience is planned to be carried into the generation of integral/differential equation based hybrid codes for analyzing scattering from multiple homogeneous/ anisotropic layers with loaded/shaped edges.
