Abstract

In this study the effect of doping concentration of boric acid (H3BO3) on the photovoltaic parameters of the PEDOT:PSS layer, which is used as hole collector layer in P3HT:PCBM based organic solar cells has been studied. PEDOT: PSS solutions prepared by adding H3BO3 at different concentrations (0, 0.625, 1.25, 2.50, 3.75 and 5.00 mg/ml) were coated with spin coater on ITO substrates as thin film. The performance of the P3HT:PCBM based organic solar cells was investigated by calculating basic electronic characteristics such as power conversion efficiency (PCE), fill factor (FF), short circuit current (Isc) and open circuit voltage (Voc).
