Abstract

In this study, three types of proportional valve driven networks have been designed and constructed in order to develop the optimum energy management and cost reduction methods. The first case is proportional valve driven simple network, the second case is proportional valve driven complex hardy-cross network, and the last one is proportional valve driven branch network. Experimental setup covers 500 m2 area and pipe diameter differs from 1" to 4". Advanced hardware and software structures are used in design considering highly accurate results for different pressure and flow characteristics between monitoring the water distribution networks.
