Özet

Upon treatment of p -(1)but -tetrathiacalix[4]arene and p -(1)but-tetrathiatetramercaptocalix[4]arene by 1,2-dibromoethane in the presence of K2CO3 two new basket-type derivatives are obtained and their structures characterised in the solid state by X-ray diffraction on single crystals.
