Abstract

In this paper, PFC boost converter with CRM based on constant on-time current mode control is proposed. The proposed converter is analyzed and designed for 140 V- 275 V AC input voltages, 396 V output voltage and 410 W output power. Circuit parameters and components have been calculated and to verify the analyses, the converter is simulated with PSIM simulation program under 140 V worst condition and 220 V nominal voltage conditions. The simulation results show that calculated parameters are in accordance with analyzed and calculated results and increased power factor up to almost unity with EMI filter.
