Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans has been used as a planning model in recent years, especially in Europe and developing countries such as our country and South American countries, where the urban population has increased. In this paper, after an overview of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, examples of best practices that can be adapted to our cities, legislation and financing issues in the transition process to these plans in Turkey are discussed.
