It could be argued that the number of studies on Oman in Türkiye is insufficient. Some research institutions or centers focusing on the Middle East and Turkish foreign policy release studies on an annual basis that include some information about Türkiye-Oman ties, however they are typically on an annual or general basis. However, it would be much preferable and informative if there were an article or other type of study in this area providing as much annual information as possible regarding the relations between Türkiye and Oman. For that reason, this research provides detailed information about these relations, including the level they reached, the stages they went through, what kind of efforts the institutions or statesmen made, the issues that were prioritized in the negotiations, and how far their shared vision extended.
