Abstract

In this paper, the Laguerre Wawelets method to obtain the numerical solutions of the Boussinesq equation is studied. The PDE is transformed into an algebraic system of equations by using the method. A numerical example is given in order to make a comparison between the proposed method and the results are derived by using MAPLE, a computer algebra system. Laguerre wavelet method is found to be efficient and computational for the PDE.
