Yenilenen eğitim-öğretim programları, yöntem ve
tekniklerinde özellikle üstünde durulan hususlardan biri
öğrencilerin öğrenme stili farklılıklarıdır. Her öğrencinin
kendine ait daha iyi öğrendiği bir yöntem bulunmaktadır.
Fakat gerek sınıfların mevcudu gerekse bu öğrenme
stillerinin belirlenmesinde zaman engelinin bulunması,
bireysel öğrenme stillerini yeterince açığa çıkaramamaktadır.
Bu yüzden derslerde çeşitli materyallerin geliştirilmesi ve
kullanılması bu açığı kapatmak için ideal bir yöntemdir.
Hem bilinçli hem de bilinç dışı olarak öğrenciye pek çok
öğrenme imkanı sunmasıyla birlikte iyi birer kültür aktarıcısı
olan çizgi romanlar da kullanılabilecek etkili görsel ve işitsel
materyallerdir. Bu amaçla hazırlanmış olan ‘’Sadece Biriyim’’
adlı dijital çizgi roman çocuk haklarını ele almaktadır. Sosyal
bilgiler dersi 4., 5., ve 6. sınıf Birey ve Toplum, Etkin
Vatandaşlık gibi öğrenme alanları kazanımlarını öğrenciye
aktarabilecek bir materyal geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Özellikle evrensel bir konu olması ve erken yaşlarda bilinç
oluşturması için ‘’Çocuk Hakları Evrensel
Beyannamesi’nden’’ yararlanılarak çizgi roman materyali
geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu materyalin hazırlanmasında
Pixton isimli Web 2.0 aracından faydalanılmıştır.
Hazırlanmış olan materyalin Sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretimine
katkıda bulunmasının yanı sıra yetişkinlerde çocuk
haklarına yönelik farkındalık oluşturması ve gelecek
One of the issues that are especially emphasized in the
renewed education-training programs, methods and
techniques is the learning style differences of the students.
Each student has their own way of learning better. However,
both the size of the classes and the time barrier in
determining these learning styles cannot sufficiently reveal
the individual learning styles. Therefore, the development
and use of various materials in the lessons is an ideal method
to close this gap. Comics, which are good cultural
transmitters, are effective visual and auditory materials that
can be used, as well as offering many learning opportunities
to the student, both consciously and unconsciously. The
digital comic book “I am Only One of Them”, prepared for
this purpose, deals with children's rights. It has been
developed a material that can transfer the achievements of
the 4th, 5th and 6th grades of social studies such as
Individual and Society, Active Citizenship to the students. It
has been tried to develop a material that can transfer the
acquisitions of learning areas such as citizenship to the
student. Comic book material has been developed by making
use of the "Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child",
especially in order to be a universal subject and to raise
awareness at an early age. Web 2.0 tool named Pixton was
used in the preparation of this developed material. It is
aimed that the prepared material will contribute to the
teaching of Social Studies course, as well as raise awareness
of children's rights in adults and help similar studies in the
future
