Abstract

Using all the sources efficiently depends on the improvement of human resources. In a period when competition among the countries in the world increases and economical, social and political competition accelerates, the need for the improving of the qualitative human force is becoming higher and higher and on the other hand the importance of educational institutions responsible for educating necessary human force is becoming more significant in order to go through such a competition. The efforts to provide the quality at education and the effort of the faculties to become accredited in international arena has brought about new improvements in the roles of academic staff and their professional development needs, and made the meeting of these needs necessary.
