AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS AND FRONTOTEMPORAL DEGENERATION, vol.22, pp.105, 2021 (SCI-Expanded)
Accumulation of misfolded and damaged pro-
teins are known to be associated with the pathogenesis of
many neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson ’ s
Disease, Alzheimer Disease, ALS (1 – 4). Parkin, an E3 ubiquitin-
protein ligase, is an important component of ubiquitin-prote-
asome system (5). It is known that Parkin is important for
especially genetic Parkinsonism. There is limited study on
Parkin for ALS disease.
