Özet

: Plastic, one of the petrochemical products, is used in many fields today. Petrochemical products such as packaging, digital equipment, medical equipment, detergents, or rubber have become an integral part of society. The importance of petrochemical products, which is an important component of the production sector, is increasing. Demand for plastic has nearly doubled since the beginning of 2000. This outstripped all other bulk materials (such as steel, aluminium, or cement). Unfortunately, pollution from chemicals produced from oil and natural gas causes great harm to people, animals, and the environment. In this study, bio-based ABS (Akrilonitril Butadiene Stiren) was used to reduce the environmental effects of ABS raw material, which is one of the petrochemical products, within the scope of sustainability. In the study, the strength values were compared by producing with standard ABS raw material and ABS raw material with “olive seed” added. In this study, it is aimed to meet the standard ABS requirements with the use of bio additive ABS.
