The Mann Whitney U-Test, the Repeated Measures of Variance Analysis technique and the sentence-based content analysis technique were used to analyze the data. This study was conducted with first-year students who were studying in the undergraduate program of psychological counselling and guidance in a public university in Turkey. Thirty-eight of the students were appointed to a control group, and the other 38 students were appointed to the experimental group.
