Özet

This research presents a pioneering, state-of-the-art multigeneration system that is specifically designed to tackle carbon dioxide emissions in glass production plants. This innovative system utilizes monoethanolamine absorption to extract carbon dioxide from glass production processes. The hydrogen gas used in the system is created through alkaline electrolysis and is supported by wind power. A portion of the hydrogen produced is used to react with carbon dioxide, producing methanol, while the remaining amount is stored in a storage tank. The system also produces valuable outputs such as electricity, district heating, and hot water. The design of the system incorporates other renewable resources, such as solar energy, to optimize its overall functionality. The system achieved a hydrogen production rate of 0.04491 kg/s and a methanol production rate of 0.1582 kg/s. Additionally, the system boasted an energy efficiency of 75.73% and an exergy efficiency of 36.59%, respectively.
