Abstract

In order to remove water from the textile, it is first necessary to recognize the textured structure which is a porous structure. As the water passes through the textile, it is exposed to resistance due to porosity. For the ability to pass through the porous material, its permeability has to be known. The first study on permeability was conducted by Darcy in the mid-1800s. Some permeability statements have been more important to researchers. In particular, this study empirically compared the expressions of permeability accepted by large sections in the literature. In addition, the effects of parameters such as temperature, laundry layer and porosity on both flow rate and permeability are examined.
