Abstract

An active beam scanning transmitarray operating at 145GHz is proposed in this paper. To obtain a 180 degrees phase difference, the current flow direction on the element radiation patch is changed by controlling the working state of the two GaAs Schottky diodes. The 15 x 15 transmitarray composed of this element changes the beam direction in real-time in the range of 50 degrees, with a maximum aperture efficiency of 25.2%.
