Özet

Utilization of renewable energy resources as on-grid or off-grid systems are in a continuous increase. It is mainly because of significant fluctuations on oil prices and rising environmental concerns. Moreover, wind and solar energy resources are utilized in electric energy generation for compensation of fast growing demand. In this study, a comparative analysis of 1 MW hybrid renewable power plant for a private industrial company in Gemlik, Bursa is presented. The analysis is performed for best cost-effective power plants. The design methodology is performed on grid-connected system. Besides, solar radiation, wind speed, load demand profile, electricity tariff and cost of hybrid power plant equipment’s are taken into consideration as input parameters. The alternatives and parameters are evaluated in the process of hybrid power plant design to obtain levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). The results are obtained by using HOMER software program and all alternatives are compared with each other. As a result, there exist not only an optimum economic case but also the most environment friendly case were evaluated.
