Abstract

Scientific and technological developments, shaped by desire of countries being superiour than others, inevitably make contributions for educational area as well. The expectation of these scientific and technological changes reflections in teaching areas to form permanent learning has developed the use technology in education. The use of computer in educational areas increases in our country in parallel with other developed countries. Computer supported teaching environments are generally used to analyse academic achievement. Aim of present study is to reach common judgment about effectiveness of Physics lessons, carried out by using Computer Assisted Instruction methods, by using meta-analysis method. The most important result of this study is that the Computer Assisted Instruction method has an important level of superiority.
