Özet

Bu çalışmada Batı Resim Sanatında cehennem kavramının ele alınış biçimleri, farklı ressamların eserleri üzerinden incelenerek çözümlemeler yapılmış, Doğu Sanatında söz konusu kavramın ele alınış şekli farklı minyatürlerde, tasvirlerde incelenmiştir. Buonamico Buffalmacco, Dieric Bouts, Hans Memling, Jan van Eyck, Hieorymus Bosch gibi ressamların eserleri incelenerek cehennem konusunu nasıl yansıttıkları üzerinde durulmuştur. Ressamların eserleri vasıtasıyla toplumun inanış şeklinin sanatına nasıl yansıdığı hususunda örneklere yer verilmiştir. Çalışmada ressamların yapmış oldukları eserler resimsel açıdan değerlendirilerek resim çözümlemesi yapılmış ve bu doğrultuda cehennem kavramının nasıl ele alındığı araştırılmıştır. Pek çok toplumda ele alınan cehennem kavramının resimsel açıdan yorumlanış biçimindeki benzerlikler ya da farklılıkların karşılaştırılması resim analizleriyle ortaya çıkarılmıştır. İslâm inancında cehennem kavramının nasıl ele alındığı araştırılmış; bu bağlamda Ahval-ı Kıyamet adlı eserde yer alan cehennem tasvirleri üzerinden veriler elde edilerek Batı Resim Sanatındaki örneklerle karşılaştırma yoluna gidilmiştir. Cehennem kavramının Batı Resim Sanatında ve Doğu Sanatındaki tasvir edilişi, teknik açıdan ve içerik bakımından incelenerek benzer yönleri araştırılmıştır.

In this study, the way in which the concept of hell is handled in Western Painting Art is analyzed by examining the works of different painters, and the way in which the concept is handled in Eastern Art is examined in different miniatures and depictions. The works of painters such as Buonamico Buffalmacco, Dieric Bouts, Hans Memling, Jan van Eyck, Hieorymus Bosch were examined and how they reflected the subject of hell. Examples are given about how the belief of the society is reflected in the art through the works of the painters. In the study, the works of the painters were evaluated from a pictorial point of view, and the painting analysis was made and how the concept of hell was handled in this direction was examined. The similarities or differences in the pictorial interpretation of the concept of hell, which is considered in many societies, have been revealed through picture analysis. It has been researched how the concept of hell is handled in Islamic belief; In this context, data was obtained from the depictions of hell in the work called Ahval-ı Kıyamet and compared with the examples in Western Painting Art. The depiction of the concept of hell in Western Painting and Eastern Art has been examined in terms of technique and content, and similar aspects have been researched.
