Özet

In co-production systems, different products are produced simultaneously in the same production process. Co-production is strongly related to the circular economy, which aims to minimize waste and the use of raw materials. This study proposes novel MIP formulations to solve the lot-sizing and parallel machine scheduling problem in co-production systems, thereby significantly reducing raw material consumption and environmental impacts. Finding optimal production plans establishes a collaborative framework that can be covered through industrial symbiosis and enables sustainable development.
