Özet

Third party logistics (3PL) providers plays an important role in cold item transportation by offering specialized expertise, equipment, service to ensure that the items are transported at the appropriate temperature and arrive in a good condition. This article proposed a problem in selecting 3PL to transport the cold item from a manufacturing company based on different criteria after analyzing the different parameters and ratings of the 3PL. Moreover, the selection process are carried out using MCDM approach namely ARAS to identify the best 3PL under uncertainty. Neutrosophic sets are used to address the uncertainty in the form of data to study about the incomplete and inconsistent information. Single-valued trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers are used to address the incompleteness of the information. Further, the considered problem is solved by the approach of ARAS and also investigated sensitivity analysis which results the best alternatives.
