The growing global population impacts the environment and increases energy demands in buildings. This situation has led to a rising interest in renewable energy sources such as solar power. Consequently, the energy produced by solar panels and the energy consumed in buildings have become critical factors. Traditional methods of collecting this data through surveys or media are insufficient, making satellite imagery increasingly valuable. This study aims to estimate the energy production and consumption potential of buildings using satellite images. The You Only Look Once (YOLO) model has been prepared for foreign images, with the dataset labeled using Computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT). Object areas detected by the algorithm will be calculated to estimate energy output.
