Measurement of coherent plus incoherent scattering differential cross-section of 59.5 keV gamma-rays from gold

Coherent plus incoherent scattering differential cross-sections of 59.5 keV gamma-rays of Am-241 from Be, Al and Au for angles ranging from 45degrees, to 125degrees were experimentally measured. The corresponding theoretical differential cross-sections were calculated by means of form factors and incoherent scattering functions, A comparison between the experimentally determined results and the theoretically calculated values can be seen as a good agreement within the experimental errors.
