Özet

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is becoming an important approach in modern wireless networks by combining sensing and communication within shared hardware. However, deploying such systems in complex scenarios like disaster environments, where infrastructure is often damaged, remains challenging. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) enhance ISAC capabilities due to their mobility, flexibility, and cost efficiency, making them well-suited for time-critical operations. In this study, an ISAC-enabled UAV framework is proposed for disaster response, where UAVs simultaneously perform environmental sensing, such as survivor detection and debris mapping, while maintaining reliable communication with ground stations. A unified system model is developed to jointly optimize beamforming, power allocation, and resource partitioning between sensing and communication while ensuring a minimum communication quality of service (QoS). Additionally, an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-based dual-functional waveform is introduced to balance sensing accuracy and communication performance. Simulation results demonstrate improved sensing coverage and communication reliability compared to conventional schemes, along with reduced hardware complexity and more efficient spectrum utilization.
