Özet

In this study, the potentiometric titrations of para and nitro substituted aromatic acids in methanol have been reported. Good analytical results are obtained in determining the amount of acids and their mixtures by using 0.0964 N tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (TBAH) as a standard titrant. A linear relationship has been found between (p) under barK(a), values of the para and nitro substituted aromatic acids in water and the half neutralization potential (HNP) values measured by potentiometric titration of the same acids in methanol.
