Abstract

In this article, speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is made using fuzzy logic algorithm. Model of PMSM is established using Matlab-Simulink program. Designs are made by using frequency domain parameters and simulations are made at real time parameters based power electronics system. Fuzzy logic controller is designed using Matlab fuzzy logic toolbox. In this study, Proportional-Integral (PI) and fuzzy logic control were compared for speed of PMSM. Therefore, it seen apparently that speed control of PMSM with fuzzy logic has been shown to give much better results according to PI controller.
