Abstract

In this paper, the performance of the system using the Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) wireless communication waveform between a base station as a transmitter, large intelligent surface (LIS) and a destination as MMSE receiver is investigated. It is thought to increase that the performance of the system thanks to large intelligent surfaces (LIS). LIS deliberately change the phases of incoming waves to improve the signal quality at the receiver. Both the channel between the source and the LIS and the channel between the LIS and the destination are assumed to be Rayleigh fading channels. The accuracy of the proposed system is evaluated with simulation results.
