Covid 19- and its affects have been changing all the regulations around the
World. Most of the traditions are abandoned due to this huge catastrophic disaster. At the
beginning most people had the idea of that all tolerances and changes are temporary.
However, at some part of this period, people realized that are alternative and easier ways of
doing the same thing. It is acceptable that online processes are seem less reliable by
people who are not deeply interested in web based communications. On the other hand
some technical studies requiring less human interaction gain an acceleration.
Transportation based studies are basically dealing with vehicles even if the drivers are
human part of this phenomena. As many other things traffic volumes, vehicles, travel
times, trip generations are subjected to a permanent change due to Covid-19. These changes
show slight differences among the countries which are suffered from Covid- 19 at different
levels. Therefore, policy makers have been started considering the effects of Covid-19 at
each step of transportation planning and investments on transportation infrastructure. This
study includes the studies about transportation planning and infrastructure investment
processes after Covid -19 disaster. The main goal of this research is to reveal the
similarities and the differences of changes on transportation based investments due to
Covid-19.
