Ship fires are among the maritime accidents that are encountered and precautions are becoming increasingly important. In order to reduce this, it is important to take precautions in ship interior design, materials used and operations where there is a risk of fire. A number of studies have been conducted after major ship fires. The relevant regulations must be fully implemented and efforts must continue in accordance with the decisions taken. In the study, the steps that have been initiated and need to be completed to prevent ship fire problems in our country are examined. This image should not be damaged in maritime transportation, which is a safe mode of transportation.
