Özet

Fisher’s equation is very useful for modeling phenomena in  population dynamics, neurophysiology, population dynamics and chemical kinetics. In this paper, a numerical solution of the equation is given by using Chebyshev wavelets method. After applying the technique, the PDE is converted into an algebraic system of equations to be simply solved by a computer algebra system such as MAPLE, MATLAB.  Finally; the method

is compared with some numerical methods in order to show efficiency and applicability of the proposed method, and Chebyshev wavelet method is found to be efficient, accurate and computational for the PDE.
